Mission

When growing up in the 50's I noticed that my mom tried to hang art on our walls that was relevant to who we were. At that time there not many choices of art to choose from that depicted positive images of people of color. I am so happy that things have changed and I'm even happier to be a part of this change.

I find it fullfilling to paint positive images depicting people of color. As a Black woman I feel that it is an honor to be able to illustrate the beauty, grace, and sensuality of women of color.

I will continue to explore new ways to communicate what I find is relevant to me and this I will do through my art. "To thine own self be true".
